Company History

Caddy-med couriers cc was established by Thurlo Manuel in 1998 and registered as a close corporation in 1999. Our registration number is, CK1999/20054/23.

Thurlo started the business as its first employee and managing member and Caddy-Med now proudly employs a team of 6 dedicated team-players.

Since these humble but memorable beginnings Caddy-Med has been doing medication deliveries to patient’s homes from their respective pharmacies. Most patients were on chronic medication.

The company has since expanded its delivery services as from december 2004, and entered the “mainstream” corporate sector by collecting pathology specimens for prominent pathologists throughout cape town and surrounds. During that same year we began doing doing specimen collections from veterinary clinics for Golden Vetpath, an animal diagnostic laboratory in Cape Town with it’s headquarters firmly based in Sandton Johannesburg.

Our mission

• To become and remain the “middle man” between any medical service providers and their respective cleints/patients they may serve.
• To be available 24hrs/per day, 7 days p/week to anyone who requires a medical courier service, irrespective of their race,creed,medical condition, political affilliation, nationality or sexual preference.
• To become a “household name” to all individuals and corporates alike, who chooses to utilise our dedicated and cost effective services.
• To live-up to our slogan: “in sickness or in wealth, we’re there for your health”
